Oracle Version 7.3 Client Software Download

Hi All,I am developing my SSIS package on VS 2010, for loading data from Oracle to SQL Server. I am using the MS Oracle 11g Client. I am able to create Oracle Connection. But unable to load data. I am getting the following error “Oracle Net Error: TNS: no appropriate services found”.I am unable to identify whether the problem is in the client side or in the server side.Please help me out with your suggestions and experience.Thanks.

I have installed ODP.Net 11.2.0.3 on my Windows 10 machine. After that I have installed Oracle Client 11.2.0.3 and Oracle OLEDB provider 11.2.0.3. The Oracle client is the latest version.

As I need the Oracle Client 11.2.0.3 to work in the Oracle Database 12c, I have tried to create a new connection and have used the same Oracle Client version for the connection.

I am able to connect to Oracle Database 12c with the same ODAC and Oracle Client version but I am not able to access oracle database 12c through OraOLEDB provider.

I have configured the OraOLEDB.oracle using ODAC 11.2.0.3 and using the.NET 4.0 framework.

I am using the same Oracle client and ODAC version (11.2.0.3) on the SQL Server machine in the same network and I am able to connect the SQL Server with OraOLEDB using the same Oracle client and ODAC version 11.2.0.3. In the case of OraOLEDB, I am not able to access the SQL Server in the same network.

In the past you needed to have the Oracle Linux RPM package installed. This is no longer the case with the RedHat family. You can download the packages from the Oracle website and install them.
