The cx23415 is configured using the cx2341x_t structure, and the cx23415 driver itself is configured using the cx2341x_algo structure. The cx2341x driver uses the cx2341x_input, cx2341x_video, and cx2341x_audio drivers to configure the video and audio inputs and outputs.

The cx23415 is a complete MPEG-2 video encoder/decoder. It accepts a video stream in MPEG-2, and outputs a MPEG-2 compliant video stream with audio. The input video stream can be supplied either to the device in YUV 4:2:0 format or the device can accept the YUV 4:2:2 interlaced format directly. The video stream is to be decoded by the cx23415 and the audio stream is to be outputted through the audio jacks (both line and speaker outputs).

Each of these drivers is configured using the cx2341x_video_input, cx2341x_video_out, and cx2341x_audio_out structs. These structures define the video and audio inputs and outputs respectively.
