CDFS is a proprietary partition of the TRANSEC JetFlash USB drive. TRANSEC is a company that has been acquired by Gadget and are marketing the JetFlash drives under their name. CFFS is different from FAT32 and NTFS.

The JetFlash drives do not have a partition table. All of the files, including the programs, are stored in a free space area of the drive. The file system is read only. As a result, the JetFlash drives can be used as read only devices.

BTW, I am using my USB drive as storage for my windows 7 OS, in which all the music, video etc. is stored in the drive, which is plugged on to my PC, I am not able to find any software or tool to run the programs directly from the drive. I would know that how to do it, as at times I need to run media video player, or iphone firmware updater etc. to make sure the software is running properly.

I just wanted to know if CDFS partition of transcend jetflash 620 usb drive can be used for auto-running of certain programs when plugged on to windows 7 system. Is their any way of editing this drive to get these results. I could have tried on my own but for that i am looking for these answer so that i could buy one after some senior help.
